Olga joins the Colorado Symphony for Rachmaninoff 3

This week, Olga Kern continues her autumn of Rachmaninoff piano concerti when she plays the composer’s famous Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Colorado Symphony. James Judd conducts the performances, which take place October 10, 11, and 12 at Boettcher Concert Hall. The program also includes Haydn’s Symphony No. 103, “Drumroll,” and the “Blumine” movement from Mahler’s Symphony No. 1.

Rachmaninoff’s third piano concerto was the work that Olga played when she won the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Gold Medal in the Eleventh Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in June 2001. Click here to watch her award-winning performance.
