Olga Kern joins Leonard Slatkin and members Orchestre National de Lyon for chamber music

Following her two concert performances of Beethoven’s Triple Concerto with the Orchestre National Lyon, Olga Kern joins members of the ensemble under the direction of Leonard Slatkin for a morning of chamber music on September 21. Maestro Slatkin joins Olga at the keyboard alongside violinist Jennifer Gilbert, violist Jean-Pascal Oswald, cellist Nicolas Hartmann, and bassist Vladimir Octavian Toma for a program that combines Ravel’s Mother Goose, with excerpts from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess as arranged by Jascha Heifetz, and Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet.
