Olga Kern’s 2015-16 season begins with recitals in Europe, Rachmaninoff with Pacific and Baltimore Symphonies

Olga Kern’s 2015-16 season features recitals in France and Peru, as well as concerts with symphonies across the United States. The acclaimed pianist performs at the Dinard Festival on August 15 with an electrifying program of Mendelssohn, Alkan, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, and Balakirev, before traveling to Peru where she performs at the Auditorio del Colegio Santa Ursula in Lima.

A leading Rachmaninoff interpreter, Olga spends September bringing her signature accounts of the great Russian master to audiences across the U.S. On September 5, Olga performs Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in Irvine, California, where she joins Carl St. Clair and the Pacific Symphony. From September 17 to 19, Marin Alsop leads the acclaimed pianist in three concerts of Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with the Baltimore Symphony.
