Olga Kern gives recital in Trelleborg Sweden’s Church of St. Nicolai

June 28 sees Olga Kern in Sweden where the pianist offers a recital in the country’s southernmost city, Trelleborg. Launching a piano festival at the Church of St. Nicolai, the pianist offers a program that includes Beethoven’s 10 Variations on Salieri’s “La Stessa, La Stessissima,” a selection from Alkan’s 12 Etudes in All the Major Keys, Chopin’s Piano Sonata No. 2, and a pairing of Rachmaninoff’s Three Études tableaux and 9 Preludes.
