The Olga Kern International Piano Competition launches this year as a platform for young pianists to develop international careers. In partnership with the New Mexico Philharmonic, Olga Kern seeks to help the next generation to achieve their aspirations and dreams on the world stage.
The competition winner will be awarded a cash prize along with a professional recording and multiple concert engagements through the end of 2018. Held every three years, the competition encourages pianists between the ages of 18 and 32 to apply.
Applications are now open for the November 2016 competition.
