Olga Kern joins the Janacek Philharmonic for Tchaikovsky 1

October 30 and 31 find Olga Kern in the Czech Republic for two concerts with the Janacek Philharmonic. In the city of Ostrava, Olga can be heard performing Tchaikovsky’s emotionally rich Piano Concerto No. 1 with compatriot conductor Michail Jurowski at the podium.

Olga recorded Tchaikovsky’s first piano concert with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra under Christopher Seaman for Harmonia Mundi in 2003. The album can be purchased on Amazon and iTunes.
