Olga Kern’s summer concert season begins on June 28. Following concerts earlier this spring with the Gävle Symphony, Olga returns to Sweden to perform in Trelleborg’s Church of St. Nicolai, offering a program of works by Beethoven, Alkan, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.

Rachmaninoff is reprised the next month when Olga joins the Staatskapelle Weimar and conductor Stefan Solyom for performances of the composer’s Piano Concerto No. 2 at the Congress Centrum neue Weimarhalle on July 6 and 7. Olga reprises the same work on July 25th in the United States with the Pittsburgh Symphony and conductor Lawrence Loh at Heinz Hall. Five days earlier, on July 20, she reprises her Trelleborg program at the Fort Collins International Keyboard Odyssiad and Festival in Colorado, performing on behalf of the Kern Foundation “Aspiration.”
