From February 25 to March 3, Olga Kern joins Leonard Slatkin and the Detroit Symphony Orchestra for the DSO’s tour of Florida. A frequent collaborator with Maestro Slatkin, Olga will perform both Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini and Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 1 during the five-day, four-city tour.

They begin in West Palm Beach at the Kravis Center for Performing Arts. February 25’s concert features Olga performing the Rachmaninoff while February 26’s performance hears her in the Prokofiev. On February 28, Olga joins the DSO for Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, and on March 2 she reprises Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto at Vero Beach’s Community Church. Olga’s portion of the DSO tour concludes on March 3 at Sarasota’s Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall with Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody.
