She presents a varied program of music from the 18th to 20th centuries, including Scarlatti’s Three Sonatas, Beethoven’s Sonata No. 21 (“Waldstein”), Mendelssohn’s Variations sérieuses, Scriabin’s Études, Balakirev’s Islamey, as well as Rachmaninoff’s Trois Études Tableaux and Three Preludes. The pianist also looks forward to a selection of these pieces and more for a solo recital at New York City’s 92nd Street Y in November.
