Olga Kern is Featured Guest with Israel Symphony Orchestra in 2016

Olga Kern appears in Israel in January 2016 for a solo recital and to perform with the Israel Symphony Orchestra. On January 21, she gives a recital presented by the Orchestra in Rishon LeZion. On the program is Scarlatti’s Three Sonatas, Beethoven’s Sonata No. 21 (“Waldstein”), Mendelssohn’s Variations sérieuses, Schumann’s Kinderszenen and Liszt’s Réminiscences de Don Juan.
The pianist then takes the stage on January 23 with the Israel Symphony Orchestra in Rishon LeZion for a performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in f-sharp minor. Olga will reprise Rachmaninoff with the Orchestra on January 24 at Tel Aviv’s Performing Arts Center Opera House, on January 25 in Rehovot, and on January 26 once more in Rishon LeZion.
