World Premiere at 92nd Street Y
On Saturday, November 7, Olga Kern gives the world premiere of Russian composer Boris Frenkshteyn’s Homage Variations to Edward Grieg and Béla Bartók, written in dedication to Olga, at her 92nd Street Y recital. She returns to Kaufmann Concert Hall for a program of favorites, including works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumann and Liszt. She takes the program on tour in 2016, making appearances across the United States and in Israel and South Africa.
Olga performed at the 92nd Street Y in 2014 to critical acclaim, and appears this year as part of the Distinguished Artists Series.
